Memberships
Rules:
1. Hours of operation are 4:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week. Participants are expected to leave promptly at closing.
2. The Fitness Center facility is for the exclusive use of LVPOA members who are 16 years of age or older and who have paid the current year's Fitness Center use fee. Children ages 13 to 15 must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardian. No one under the age of 13 is permitted in the fitness center at any time.
3. An LVPOA member may not be the guest of another LVPOA member.
4. Proper attire (shirt, shorts or slacks, and closed toe sneakers or appropriate training shoes) must be worn. (Crocs are not appropriate training shoes.)
5. No food or drinks are allowed. Water or exercise drinks in non-spill bottles are permitted.
6. Please wear earphones so your music is not audible to anyone else.
7. Please pick up after yourself and do your part to take care of the equipment.
• Weights should be returned to the racks, treadmills returned to level position, and mats stacked against the wall after use.
• Use fitness center equipment in a responsible manner. Do not move or alter machines or racks. Please put benches, bands, etc. back into position after use.
• Wipe down equipment after use.
8. Please observe proper fitness center/gym decorum and consideration of the rights and comforts of others. This includes:
• No abusive, profane, or provocative language.
• Courteous use of televisions and fans, if applicable.
• Do not monopolize a specific piece of equipment. Allow other members to “work in” and alternate sets. Observe stated cardio equipment time limits when others are waiting to use the equipment.
• Keep doors and windows closed.
9. If you are the last person to leave at night, please turn off all lights and fans and close the doors.
10. When equipment needs repair, LVPOA staff will post a sign indicating the date the repair order was called in. Additional calls for service are not needed.

Members residing in the Lago Vista community area desiring to bring a guest to the Fitness Center must obtain a Guest Pass from the Administrative Office. LVPOA members must accompany their guests in the Fitness Center, at all times. Proper attire (shirt, shorts or slacks and exercise shoes) must be worn. No food or drinks are allowed. Water in bottles is permitted. Audible music is not permitted. Members must wear earphones. Weights should be returned to the racks, treadmills returned to level position, and mats stacked against the wall after use. Please wipe off equipment when finished. Courteous use of the television and fans should be observed. Windows and doors need to be kept closed at all times to avoid damage to the air conditioner. All lights and fans need to be turned off and doors closed when the last person leaves. When equipment needs repair, a sign will be posted indicating the date the repair order was called in. Additional calls for service are not needed. The Fitness Center is under 24-hour camera surveillance. Members are fully responsible for any and all damages to LVPOA property occurring during their period of use. Members violating rules will be cited and fined as follows:
-Warning to $500 per occurrence plus damages, if any.
-Members violating a rule more than 3 times may have their privileges suspended and additional fines assessed as determined by the Board of Directors.
